Many skills were called upon during this varied and interesting renovation of a 600 year old Hall House. Although the structure was in sound condition, the interior resembled a 1930's suburban semi. After diligent research we successfully reinstated most of the original features and improved the aesthetic ambience of this fine medieval building.

Above is the view of a 'Smokebay' wall. This room was returned to it's original vaulted state whilst incorporating state-of-the-art underfloor heating. The floor joists were skillfully repaired to match existing joists' 'ox tongue' stop chamfered detail. Revealed stone and brick work was repaired. Cross view of the kitchen, the screen was created using the original staves and 'wattling' from the grounds (right).
